Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak network was expanded with the construction of an additional library located near the Kompleks Tahir Majid building at UiTM Shah Alam, named PTAR FSPU. The term "FSPU" referred to the Faculty of Architecture, Planning, and Surveying. This library was established to meet the specific needs of its patrons, including students, researchers, academic staff, and administrative staff of the faculty.

PTAR FSPU was rebranded and has since been known as the Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak Alam Bina or PTAR Alam Bina. The library plays a key role in providing services and reference materials to support teaching, learning, and research activities. It offers a specialized and focused collection tailored to the academic programs offered by the faculty.
